2. This website
Visiting the website produces technical connection data, including IP address, requested URL, time and browser information, used to deliver the site, maintain security and investigate faults. Fonts and images are served locally. The homepage embeds no advertising or analytics services. It sets no cookies and does not store your language choice on your device. Automatic language selection uses browser language, not location access.
3. Your FlatWatch account and app
The app processes your email address, display name, password hash, verification and session data, household membership, roles, invitations and settings. Tasks, assignments, completion dates, durations and optional notes are stored to organise your shared home. Historical coin and reward records may still exist from earlier use; the coin system is currently paused.
4. Shared household data
Members see information according to their role. Admins can manage members, tasks and household summaries. Only include information in tasks and notes that you intend to share in that household context. Leaving or dissolving a home does not delete your account or automatically erase all historical records.
5. Subscriptions and app stores
Apple or Google processes the purchase through your store account. To verify purchases, FlatWatch processes product and transaction identifiers, Google purchase tokens, store association, subscription status and dates, and a technical account association. The backend sends the required verification information to the relevant store. Payment details are processed by the store; FlatWatch does not receive full card details through purchase verification.
6. Purposes and legal grounds
Data is processed to provide accounts and household functions, send verification, invitation and password-reset emails, verify subscriptions, and maintain security and reliability. Applicable data protection law, including the Swiss FADP, governs processing. Where the GDPR applies, the relevant grounds are performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)), legitimate interests in secure operation (f), legal obligations (c), or consent (a) where required for a specific activity.
7. Service providers and international processing
Hosting and email providers, Apple and Google may receive data needed for their respective purposes. To be completed: the actual hosting and email providers, processing and server countries, and any safeguards for international transfers. These details must reflect the services actually used.
8. Retention and deletion
Accounts, household data and purchase records are processed for their operational and evidentiary purposes. Historical completions currently remain after leaving or dissolving a home. To be defined: specific retention periods for accounts, history, server logs, backups and purchase records, and the procedure for deletion requests. Password-reset links expire after one hour.
9. Your rights
Contact peter.gsteu@datenhaus.at to request access, correction or deletion within the scope of applicable law. Depending on the law, additional rights may include data delivery or portability, restriction, objection and withdrawal of consent. Legal retention duties and other people’s rights may limit these rights. You can contact the FDPIC or another competent supervisory authority.
10. Security and changes
FlatWatch uses measures including password hashes, time-limited reset tokens and role-based access controls. No security measure offers absolute protection. This notice will be updated when data processing changes.
